Who are HooYu?
HooYu employs digital traces, ID document validation, and facial biometrics to swiftly and securely authenticate individuals worldwide. This approach not only enhances safety but also expedites the application procedure, resulting in a faster account opening for you. HooYu use a TLS encrypted connection to keep your data secure. They delete all copies of your documents as soon as the identity check is done.
Sharing information
As part of the verification process, we’ll share your contact details with HooYu and they will share identity verification information with us.
Please make sure when you upload your proof of ID that:
- All of your details (full name, date of birth) are clearly visible and match the details on your application.
- It’s in date (we can’t accept expired documents).
- It’s the exact type of document we’ve requested.
- The image is clear and good quality.
- All four corners of the document are captured.
- Must be original documents, no copies or printouts will be accepted
- There is no visible reflection – you may need to move away from overhead lighting.
Please make sure when you upload your proof of address that:
- All of your details (full name, address) are clearly visible and match the details on your application.
- You upload a photograph of the original document – screenshots can’t be accepted.
- The image is clear and good quality.
