We’ve received notice that the Engage Card product is being closed down. We want to let members know and to make you aware of your options.
Engage has provided pre-paid cards to members of Credit Unions across the country. Sadly the closure of this product is out of our hands. You can learn more at https://engageaccount.com/
Your Engage Card account will soon be transferring to another Pre-Paid Debit Card provider. We will be removing the Engage card from the Clockwise app in the new year so you will not be able to move funds to/from your Engage Card.
You may have already seen a communication from Engage about their acquisition by SuitsMe. Engage will contact you with specific details on the timeline of the account closure.
This acquisition of Engage means your account will soon be transferring to Suits Me. Please note that Suits Me is not a part of Clockwise Credit Union, and we have had no say in the transfer of Engage customers to Suits Me.
SuitsMe isn’t your only choice for pre-paid cards. We strongly suggest you look at all your options before the end of the year. We have put some of these at the end of this page.
If you do not take action your account will move to Suits Me automatically. The fees on the SuitsMe card are different from your current Engage card, so please take time to understand the pros, cons and fees associated with this card.
If you have money going directly into a Clockwise savings account, you do not need to change your account details to SuitsMe.
If you pay for a loan through your Engage card, please arrange for payment to be changed to your Clockwise Credit Union account so your payments stay up to date.
